Weston Cain Slonaker, infant son of Matthew and Callie, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. A private family service will be held on Wednesday at 3pm in the Hunter Room at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Summertown. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Along with his parents, Weston is survived by his maternal grandmother: Melissa Cannady; maternal grandfather: Alton Cannady, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Randy Slonaker; paternal grandmother, Tammy Slonaker; paternal great grandparents: Andy & Gaynell Benefield and Howard Slonaker and Eileen Brna; great-great grandmother Martha Cornelius; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Weston was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Bobby Cornelius and great-great grandfather, Levi Cornelius.
