William Giordano

Mr. William Bill Vito Giordano, age 91, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday morning, October 17, 2013 at Life Care Center of Columbia. An inurnment will be held at Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at 2:30PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Bill was born on June 12, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan and was the son of the late Gacomo and Josephine Vetarbo Giordano. Before retiring, he worked for General Motors in the maintenance department. He is survived by his wife: Frances Giordano of Columbia; daughter: Josephine (James) Havens of Columbia; grandchildren: Kelli (Chris) Coyne of Knoxville; Kevin (MiMi) Havens of Memphis; and three great-grandchildren: Isabella Coyne, Brody Coyne, and Max Havens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother: Joe Giordano; and two sisters: Ida Ezzo and Clara Dombrowski.
