Mr. James Charles Rubino, age 80, and a resident of Calvin Court in Franklin, TN passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at NHC Health Care in Franklin. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 12 Noon at Franklin First United Methodist Church in Franklin, Tennessee with Dr. Lynn Hill officiating. Interment will follow at 2pm in the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, Tennessee. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 9am until 12 Noon at the church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Mr. Rubino was born January 17, 1933 in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. He was a Corporal in the Army. He was a member of the Koinonia Sunday School Class and Franklin First United Methodist Church. He also was a member of the American Legion and of the Masonic Lodge in New York. In his spare time, he enjoyed drawing. James is survived by his sons: Steven and Scott Rubino of Franklin; daughter: Susan (Chris) Mannino of Franklin; grandchildren: Dakota and Dalton Mannino; and a brother: Joe (Laura) Rubino of Franklin. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Janice Rubino. Pallbearers will be the members of his Sunday School Class. You may share condolences with the family at the top of this page.
