Tommy Wright

Mr. Tommy Earl Wright, age 64, husband of Glenda Wright, and a resident of Ethridge, passed away Monday evening, August 26, 2013 at his residence. The family will celebrate Tommys life with private services at a later date in Ethridge. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A native of Ethridge, TN, Tommy was born on October 10, 1948 and was the son of the late William McCauley and Helen Ingram Wright. He worked as an officer for the State of Alabama Pardons and Paroles. He loved the outdoors including fishing and traveling and had just recently finished a seventeen state tour. In addition to his love for the outdoors, Tommy also enjoyed artwork and did quite a bit of drawing himself. Along with his wife, Glenda, he is survived by two sons: Chad (Jill) Wright of Colorado Springs, CO, Shawn (Christina) Wright of Madison, AL; two daughters: Amber Smith of Lawrenceburg, Brittany Smith of Orlando, FL; a brother: Sam (Glenda) Wright of Westpoint, TN; one grandson: Elias Wright; and two step-grandchildren: Danica and Ronin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Sonny Wright and his sister, Wilma Craig. You may share condolences at the top of this page.
