Joseph Niezgoda

December 1, 1950 - April 8, 2013

Mr. Joseph Raymond Niezgoda, age 62, husband of Kathy Niezgoda, and a resident of Pulaski, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski. The family will celebrate his life with private services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. Born in Yale, Michigan on December 1, 1950, Joe was the son of the late Leo Paul and Lillian June Cutcher Niezgoda. He worked in the warehouse of the Sundrop plant in Pulaski. As a child he enjoyed hunting and fishing. While growing up, he and his brothers often played Cowboys and Indians with their loaded BB guns. As he grew older, he became a fan of baseball, football, and NASCAR, as well as throwing horseshoes. In addition to his wife of twenty"one years: Kathy; he is survived by five brothers: Jeff Niezgoda of Lewisburg, Mike (Zella) Niezgoda of Lewisburg, John(Quinn) Leverenz of Texas, Donny Niezgoda of Pulaski, and Stan (Carol Ann) Niezgoda of Springfield, Missouri; a sister, Rose Niezgoda of Michigan; four nieces: Tina (Tracy) Smith, Jennifer Niezgoda, Zella (Scott) Mihalek, and Kathrynne (Rick) Vetter; three nephews: Travis Niezgoda, Robert (Selina) Niezgoda and Glenn (Farrah) Niezgoda; and great-nieces and great-nephews: Emily Mihalek, Hailee Vetter, Karson Milahek, and Hayden Smith, Weston Smith, and Samuel Smith. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Leo, Jimmy, and Keith Niezgoda. Condolences may be sent to the family at the top of this page.
