Jack Arnold Grose

Mr. Jack Arnold Grose, age 76, husband of Pauline Grose, and a resident of Franklin Pike in Columbia, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Marshall Medical Center. Funeral services will be Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Georgina Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 4 " 7 PM and again one hour prior to the service on Friday. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. Jack was born on May 28, 1936 in Corine, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Jasper Grose and the late Opal Miller. He served in the Korean War and was a United States Marine Corp veteran. He previously worked as a union official for General Motors, and was a 32nd degree Mason. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter: Beverly (Greg) Paxson of Columbia; and three grandsons: John (Sarah) Paxson of Spring Hill, Jesse (Beth) Paxson of Spring Hill, and Jack Paxson of Columbia. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his twin brother: Don Grose and sister: Faye Robinson. Pallbearers will be John, Jesse, Jack, and Greg Paxson.
