Valerie Pillow

Valerie Pillow, age 65, and a resident of Dawson Drive in Columbia passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012 at NHC-Columbia. A memorial service for Valerie will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 6PM in the Hunter Room of Heritage Funeral Home with Pat Selle officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Pillow was born in Nashville, TN on February 14, 1947. She previously worked as a cook at the Graymere Country Club golf course. She loved to cook desserts and special meals for her friends, and she watched Law and Order faithfully. She was an honest person who would always lend a hand to others. She is survived by two brothers: Michael (Teresa Maple) Jones of Columbia, Robert Allen Jones of Columbia; and special friends: Kim Bradford, Pat Selle, and Teresa Braden.
