Annie Lou Overton

Annie Lou Overton, age 97, of Culleoka, TN passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Lifecare Center of Columbia. The family will celebrate her life with services at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church at 10:00am Monday, December 31, 2012, David Sawyer officiating. Inurnment will follow at Buford Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Spring Hill, Annie was born on December 21, 1915. She was the daughter of the late Tyree Lafayette and Grace Frierson Holland. She adored her family more than anything. She was a faithful servant of The Lord, and she loved her church. She enjoyed crochet and made beautiful afghans and other gifts for people throughout her life, including the residents and staff of Lifecare. She is survived by her sons: Paul (Melissa) Overton of Columbia, Buddy Overton of Culleoka; daughter: Gracie (Bill) Ferguson of Culleoka; grandchildren: Victoria Overton of Nashville, Debbie (Danny) Jarrett of Lewisburg, Carol Ferguson of Culleoka, Cindy Dugger of Columbia, Denise (Tony) Bridges of Culleoka, Troy (Vanessa) Overton of Spring Hill; great-grandchildren: Will Jarrett of Culleoka, Amber (JT) Franks of Columbia, Ryan Dugger of Spring Hill, Holly Jarrett of Lewisburg, Ainsley and Riley Overton of Spring Hill; and great-great-grandchildren: Landon Bardwell, Logan Bardwell, and Gunner Franks all of Columbia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Blythe Overton. Memorials may be made to Spring Hill Presbyterian Church: 5344 Main Street, Spring Hill, TN 37174.
