Henry B Klein

Mr. Henry Klein, age 93, of Columbia, TN passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at NHC Columbia. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 22nd at 1pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. Henry Bernard Klein was born March 29, 1919 in Saline Co. Missouri to George and Mamie Desmond Klein. He was a WWII veteran and served five years in the Navy on the USS Bennington and the USS Indianapolis. He lived over 40 years in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and upon his retirement from Martin Marietta he and his wife, Merrel moved to Rogers, Arkansas where they lived for fifteen years. His last nine years he was a resident of Columbia, TN. He is survived by his step-daughter: Joyce (Whitey) White of Columbia, TN; three grandchildren: Mark Strait of Cedar Rapids, IA, Teresa (Sean) Mullally of Memphis, TN, and Jeffrey (Toni) Overturf of Belfair, WA; and six great-grandchildren.
