Laura Niswander

January 22, 1964 - July 17, 2012

Laura Niswander, age 48, and a resident of Lawrenceburg, TN entered into eternity while in prayer with her Lord on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. The family will celebrate her life on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 12 noon at the Mars Hills Baptist Church, 630 Weakley Creek Road in Lawrenceburg. They will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Associate Pastor Gary Hughes will officiate. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. A native of Beaufort, South Carolina, Laura was born on January 22, 1964 to Gary Lambert and Ann Lambert Bush. She was a housewife and a member of Mars Hills Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, TN. She wrote poetry and music and could sing acapella. She was described as being witty, funny, very forgiving; and she always tried to find the best in people. Her loving and caring heart enabled her to help anyone who was in need. As her family said, she never met a stranger. She loved God, her children, and her family, and prayed for them daily. She is survived by her mother Ann Lambert Bush; two sons: Matt (Colbie) Niswander, Shawn Niswander both of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughter Sara Elizabeth (Pedro) Barnes of Nashville, TN; two brothers: Marc Lambert of San Pedro, CA, Chris Bush of Fostoria, OH; sister Kathryn Bush of Pennsylvania; two grandsons: Braxton Barnes and Jake Matthew Niswander. She is preceded in death by her step-father Roger Bush; grandmother Laura Elizabeth Adkerson, and a beloved granddaughter Elizabeth Niswander.
