Larry Shelley

April 27, 1953 - July 20, 2012

Mr. Larry Shelley, age 59 of Columbia, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Crockett Medical Center in Lawrenceburg. Memorial services will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until the service hour. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. Son of the late Rex and Grace Shelley, Larry was born on April 27, 1953 in California. He was a veteran who served as a United States Marine. His daughter described him as being a hard worker who was outgoing and laughed a lot. He especially loved being around his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Tiffany Shelley and her fianc Damian Grajeda of Columbia; two brothers: Kim Shelley of California, Kenny Shelley of California; two sisters: Tammy Keil of California, Linda Pelland of Washington; and four grandchildren: Bryce Shelley, Dominic Grajeda, Vaden Grajeda, and Adelyn Grajeda all of Columbia. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandmother Vera Rice.
