Rita Milligan Jackson Formosa

May 5, 1956 - August 20, 2012

Rita Formosa, age 56, found eternal rest in our Lord Monday, August 20, 2012 at Meadowbrook Nursing Center in Pulaski, TN. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 2 - 4 at the Belle Crossing Club House: 750 Lynnwood Circle in Clarksville, TN, and a Celebration of Rita's life will be held at 4:00 PM with Rev Louie Montoya officiating. Rita's wishes, which will be carried out by her family, is to be cremated and taken to Ft Walton Beach, FL and her ashes placed in the beach waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Rita was born May 5, 1956 at Ft Campbell, KY. Her family describes her as being tender hearted, very artistic, and an excellent cook. Her sister said that when they were children she made sure every Sunday they all went to church. Rita will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Rita is survived by her children: Anthony (Amanda) Formosa of Clarksville, TN, Christina Marie Formosa Ralston of New Johnsonville, TN, Jason (Tasha) Formosa of Pensacola, FL; siblings: Judy Jackson (Robert) Heskett of Nashville, TN, Jeannie Herrera (Lee) Walton of Marion, KY, Ross (Maria) Jackson of Clarksville, TN, Carlos (Jaunitta) Herrera of Clarksville, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents: Wilford Milligan and Ann Herrera.
