Tanner Willadean Mayo

Tanner Willadean Mayo, infant daughter of Ben and Kim Mayo, received her angel wings on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Funeral services for Tanner will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 4:00 " 8:00 PM and again on Saturday one hour prior to the service at 2. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. Tanner was a cherished blessing from the Lord. She was born on January 26, 2013 and although she only graced our presence for a short time, we know now that she is safe in the arms of Jesus. In addition to her parents, Tanner is survived by her sisters: Keegan Mayo, Gabrielle Mayo; brother, Bentley Mayo; paternal grandfather, George Thomas Mayo II; maternal grandparents: Kenneth A. Brown, Tracy Brown, Melinda Geasley; aunts: Ashley Brown (Dale Adcock), Ann (Mark) Westmorland, Alicia Mosley, Lacey Mosley; uncles: Tommy (Tina) Mayo, Kenneth W. Brown; and cousins: Rowen Mayo, River Mayo, Reagan Mayo, Ethan Chatman, Cheyanne Chatman, Brooklyn Brown, Kenneth I. Brown, and LaKayla Brown. Tanner was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Willa Dean Mayo. David Brown and Tommy Mayo will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Meghan McNeil, Jennifer Brandon, and the staff, doctors, and nurses of Vanderbilt University Childrens Hospital for their special care.
