Mr. Jeffery Dean Renfro, age 53, husband of Patricia Renfro and a resident of Oak Park Drive in Columbia passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. A funeral Service for Mr. Renfro will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11 AM at Limestone Baptist Church in Franklin, Tennessee with Rev. Wayne McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. A native of Maury County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William Henry Burkeen and Lonetta Renfro Martin. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in Memphis, Tennessee and served our country with the United States Navy. His main occupation was with 84 Lumber where he worked as a truck driver. He also was a longtime employee with Gaylord Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. His main hobby in life was fishing although his friends remembered him from his earlier years as being very athletic and loving sports. He was a very quiet person who loved his family. When his grandchildren came along, they stole his heart. He truly enjoyed being involved in their lives. His quiet presence will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. In addition to his wife of 31 years, Patricia, he left to cherish his memory two sons: Jeffery D. (Raven) Renfro of Nashville, TN and Alexander Renfro of Columbia, TN; two daughters: India Renfro of Columbia, TN and Jefforia Renfro of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Pamela Gooch of Nashville, TN and two grandsons: Jaden & Amari Renfro both of Nashville, TN. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Delores Burkeen and a brother, Timothy Burkeen. Pallbearers will include: Reginald Lockridge, Clyde Booker, Chris Crockett, Terrence Burkeen, Dennis Hill, and Quinton Duke. His nieces will serve as flowergirls. Honorary Pallbearers will include: Ira Joe Mathers, Willie Neal, Wayne Orr, Wesley Orr, and Gregory Partee.
