Michelle Grooms Talavera

October 9, 1983 - June 27, 2012

Mrs. Michelle Rene Grooms Talavera, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. A Funeral Service for Michelle will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11 AM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Georgina Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and then again on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. Born in Dallas, Texas she was the daughter of the late Ramon Flores and Deborah Grooms Flores. She attended Central High School in Columbia, Tennessee and was a dedicated employee with Lasko in Franklin, Tennessee for the past four years. Her children were the joy of her life. Just this past Saturday, she spent the entire day with all four children at the Soccer field. She was very loving and enjoyed time with family and friends. As her brother stated, "she was the best sister ever". Her love of life and sweet ways will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her mother, she left behind to cherish her memory her husband Eric Talavera and her four children: Ramon Bailon, Juan Bailon, Omar Solis and Jazmine Bailon all of Columbia, TN; her brother, Michael (Emmarleny) Grooms of Columbia, TN; her nephew, Julian Grooms of Columbia, TN, her grandpa, Bobby Joe Grooms of Columbia, TN, and a special friend, John Meade of Columbia, TN. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Janice Grooms, Salvador Flores and Mary Elena Flores. Pallbearers will include: Jeremy Grooms, Jamie Grooms, Willie Baugh, Keadrick Duke, Carlos Sparkman, and Jorge Enriquez. Honorary pallbearers will be the friends of the Southside Angels and co-workers of Lasko in Franklin. You may send condolences to the family at the top of this page.
