Mrs. Baldwin is a native of Learned Mississippi. She was born to the late Adell (Cox) Fleming and the late George Monroe Fleming, Sr. After high school, June set her eyes on the business world and eventually became the CFO of Challenger Homes. Later her and Bill got involved with manufacturing Catamaran Cruisers. But that was a small accomplishment compared with her big heart. She loved people. She would help everyone, always helping others. Her family knew that she loved them; but also stated that she had such a love for others that she would often help others to the point of taking them in if they needed help. June was very artistic and after she retired, she loved to travel. She was a member of Craft United Methodist Church in Columbia. In Maury County, June was very involved and instrumental in the Maury County Benefit Ball and the Maury County Arts Guild. One of the largest compliments that Bill said when putting this obituary together; she was my friend, my wife, my business partner and the love of my life. Bill and June had just celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary two days before her passing. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son; Buddy Baldwin of Culleoka, two daughters; Karen (Riley) Sloan of Columbia and Cindy (Mac) Carr of Tuscumbia, AL, two sisters; Chris Smith of Pearl MS and Sophie Sweatman of Summerville, SC, She will be missed by four grandchildren; Kristin Grider, Kasey South, McKnight Carr and Baldwin Carr, along with two great-grand-children; Blake Grider and Kymber Grider. She was also preceded in death by two brothers; George Monroe Fleming Jr. and Monroe Lee Fleming. Pallbearers will be members of the Craft United Methodist Church of Columbia. The family request that memorials be made to Craft United Methodist Chruch, 907 Hatcher Lane, Columbia, TN 38401.
