Lori McKee Jones

April 7, 1967 - January 25, 2012

Lori Anne McKee Jones, age 44, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at her residence. A funeral service for Ms Jones will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. David Morris and Enoch George officiating. Interment will follow in the Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and then again on Saturday 1 hour prior to the funeral service. A native of Columbia, Tennessee she was the daughter of Earl Gaskell McKee and Joan Bray McKee. She worked as a office manager for Cachet Catering and was a member of the Highland Church of Christ. This loving and caring mother spent her life doing many things for many people. She loved life and was a very fearless and feisty lady. She was very fashionable and was a friend to many. Her sweet presence and loving ways will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her loving parents, she left behind to cherish her memory three sons: Zachary Ryan LeBlanc of Lafayette, LA, Johnathan Nathaniel Elkins of Columbia, TN and James Thomas Elkins of Columbia, TN; three brothers: Ken (Macie) McKee, of Columbia, TN, Steve (Kay) McKee of Santa Fe, TN, and Michael McKee also of Columbia, TN; and a host of friends. Her cousins will serve as pallbearers. For the benefit of Lori's children, Memorials in her honor may be made to the "Lori McKee Jones Memorial Fund" through Heritage Funeral Home, 609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401.
