Mr. Bennie Daniel Jones, husband of Angela Jones, age 39, of Columbia, Tennessee passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee. Memorial services for Bennie will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Georgina Kennedy officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 PM until the service hour. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. A native of Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of Walter Jones and Gloria Jack. He was of the Jehovah's Witness faith. He worked as a truck driver and was employed with Martin Transportation in Byron Center, Michigan. He was a very hardworking, loving man. He enjoyed life and especially enjoyed the outdoors. He liked to go camping and loved fishing and hunting. He also loved to go Four Wheeling and liked to ride Go Carts with his son. He held a special place in his heart for his family and friends and was an awesome dad. He spent the weekends with his son making memories. His son referred to these weekends as, "Daddy and Dude Time". His family and friends will truly miss his wonderful, quirky sense of humor. In addition to his parents, he left behind to cherish his memory his wife, Angela Dawn (Eastin) Jones of Columbia, TN; his son, Xander Jones of Columbia, TN; brother, Ikey; sisters: Esther and Naomi and several nieces and nephews. His extended family also survives: in-laws, Tom and Cindy Eastin and Erma Naylor; brother, Andrew; and sisters: Terri, Jessica and Kris.
