Mr. Bailey D. Morrow Jr., age 78, husband of Earline Potts Morrow, and a resident of Hilltown Road in Santa Fe, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A celebration of Baileys life will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Cox and Keith Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 4:00 " 8:00 PM and again one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. A native of Maury County, Bailey was born on November 18, 1934 and was the son of the late Bailey Dan Morrow, Sr. and Marguerite Shannon Morrow. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. He was a member of Graymere Church of Christ. Bailey worked for Southway Auto Sales and was the owner and operator of the Truck Center on Carmack Blvd for twenty-four years before he retired in 2004. He enjoyed Nascar, football, and collecting knives. His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Lindsay and Zach. In addition to his wife, Earline, of almost thirty-four years, he left behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Cindy Crowell (Ted) Potts of Columbia; sister, Jane Morrow Rea (Evan Dooley) of Summerfield, FL; granddaughter, Lindsay Crowell (Kurt Jendrek) of Memphis; grandson, Zach Crowell of Columbia; sister-in-law, Mary Eleanor Morrow of Columbia; one very special niece, Penny Morrow Kilgore; and three nephews: Mike Glenn of Phoenix, AZ, Ted Morrow of Columbia, and David Morrow of Columbia, TN. He is also survived by other special nieces: Dana Walters, Briggett Collins, Tammy Jones, Duane Barnes; and sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruth Smith, Kathleen Mitchell, Ester Kinney, Audrey Slaughter, Carolyn Atkins, Charlie Potts, and R.B. Potts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Shannon Morrow. Pallbearers will be Danny Crowell, Michael Walters, Phil Stanfill, Zach Potts, Shane Potts, Mike Barnes, Calvin Atkins, Terry Prince, and Junior Pallbearers: Jonathan Walters and Blake Walters. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Toot Jones, Wayne Kinney, Billy Kennedy, Jerry Kennedy, Wayne Kennedy, John Church, Joey Davis, A.C. Howell, Bobby Brooks, nephews, and other local car and truck dealers.
