She was the daughter of the late Dean Lenair Ritchie and the late Margaret (Johnson) Delores Ritchie, and was born in Prestwick Ayrshire, Scottland. Following high school graduation, she went on to further her education at Nashville Tech in Tennessee. She worked for thirteen years in Human Resources for the State of Tennessee where she had to take a disability retirement. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. This quiet, loving, hardworking single mom was very active in her church. She had a great passion and a true love for her Heavenly Father that was evident in all she did. She loved to go clothes shopping and thoroughly enjoyed tending to her "Hobby" garden. She didn't just work with her co-workers but she was close friends with them as well and she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. She had a knack for picture taking and loved to spend time organizing her pictures. Although she had many interests and joys in her life, nothing could compare to the time she spent with her grandson who was the pride of her life. Deanna left behind to cherish her memory a daughter Carol and husband, Robert Kimes of Lewisburg, TN; three brothers: Jimmy Ritchie of Nashville, TN, Duane Ritchie of Smyrna, TN and Ian Ritchie of CA; three sisters: her twin Eva Dolores Ritchie of Mt. Juliet, TN, Jeannine Madsen of Salt Lake City, UT and Heather Ritchie of TN; one grandson, Tyler Evan Kimes; several nieces and nephews, and her many friends which were part of her extended family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother. Condolences may be sent to the family at the Heritage Funeral Home website: www.tnFunerals.com
