Amy Marie (Ludwig) Hurley, age 45, a resident of Cliff White Road in Columbia, Tennessee passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. A Memorial Mass will be held at noon on November 28, 2011 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Columbia with the Rev. Davis Chackaleckel officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held before Mass from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM in the church Narthex. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and is in charge of the arrangements. A native of Grand Ledge, Michigan, she is the daughter of Albert (Al) William Ludwig and Margaret Rosetta (Eavey) Ludwig. Following high school, she went on to receive a Bachelors degree and then her Masters degree in Global Business Management from the University of Phoenix. A highly educated woman of great faith and conviction describe this special lady. She worked as a supply chain manager, working at companies such as Saturn Corporation, Nissan, Schneider Electric and TS3 Technology. In the Church, she has served as a member of the Divine Mercy and Marian Prayer Group. She loved spending quality time with family and friends, especially through the Holidays. Christmas was her favorite time of the year decorating with Hallmark ornaments. She loved her pet kitty cats and enjoyed bowling. She was a mentor to her niece, encouraging her college aspirations. Her loving and caring ways will truly be remembered. In addition to her parents, she left behind a loving husband, Michael "Mike" Hurley, of Columbia, TN; a sister, Sandy (Tony) Sackett of Frostproof, FL; two Nieces; Colleen and Toni; her father-in-law, Thomas Hurley of Lansing, Michigan; brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom, Mary, Laurie, Matt, and Pat. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lori Ludwig.
