Mrs. Ivie Lunn Clymore Harris age 77, long time resident of the Sowell Mill Pike, passed away on Tuesday November 8, 2011 after an extended illness. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 2:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, with Reverend Calvin Lunn officiating. Burial will follow at the Ring Cemetery located in the Pottsville Community. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, November 09, 2011 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge and assisting the family with the arrangements. Born in Maury County, she was one of nine children born to the late Willis Lunn. She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Allen Lunn and her stepmother Dorothy Brown Lunn. She was a long time member of Union Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church and in her later years attended First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Harris was an excellent seamstress. Her love for sewing brought her much happiness due to the many people she met through her alteration business and the many handmade crafts she created. She had the gift of a green thumb and received much pleasure from her flowers and garden. But, her first love was to sing Gospel music. She had a beautiful alto voice which she used to praise her Lord and Savior throughout her life. She sang for many years with her siblings and was a member of the Northwest Union Quartet for over a dozen years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harvey Clymore; second husband, Frank Harris; one sister, Lorene Connelly; and one brother, Herbert Lunn. Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Vickey (Gary) Powe of Columbia, TN; two sons, Terry (Kay) Clymore of Paducah, KY, and David (Amy) Harris of Columbia, TN, plus five grandchildren: Mrs. Angie (Keith) Tilghman, Charlotte Moyer, Abbey Harris, Allison Harris, Matthew Blake and four great grandchildren. Additionally Mrs. Harris is survived by five sisters: Edith (Grady) Sharp, Columbia, TN, Betty Lentz, Columbia, Mary Frances Tasy Bolton, Columbia, TN, Martha Jones, Mt. Pleasant, TN, and Pam (Michael) Davis, Mt. Juliet, TN, and one brother, Andy (Wanda) Lunn of Lewisburg, TN. Pallbearers will be nephews Mark Sharp, Wayne Lunn, Randall Lunn, Tim Lunn, Tommy Lentz, Kyle Bolton, Thomas Lunn, Heath Lunn, Joshua Jones, and Jesse Conner. And grandson-in-law, Keith Tilghman. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Union Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church and friends and neighbors of the Union Grove and Rock Springs Community.
