Perry Annette Hunt

September 24, 1958 - September 11, 2012

Perry Annette Allen Hunt, 53, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at her residence following an extended illness. A native of Maury County, she was the daughter of James and Janice Allen. Perry was a 1976 graduate of Columbia Central High School and a 1981 graduate of UT Knoxville. She taught school at Columbia Academy in Columbia and Science Hill High School in Johnson City Tennessee in the mid 1980s. In addition to her parents, Perry is survived by her husband John Hunt of Columbia, TN; one son, Phil (Whitney) Hunt of Spring Hill; TN; two daughters: Laura and Catherine Hunt of Columbia, TN; two brothers: Mike (Amy) Allen and Phil Allen of Columbia, TN; one granddaughter, Hannah Hunt and one grandson, Noah Hunt; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Perry was preceded in death by her brother Ken. A memorial Service will be held for Perry on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with her brother Mike Allen and a friend Mike Allen officiating. The family will visit with friends from 11:00 AM until the service hour. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge and assisting the family with arrangements.
