Mr. William G. Brown, age 46, and a resident of Hatcher Lane in Columbia, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at his residence. A Funeral Service for Glenn will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 6 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Monte McCandless and Bro. Tim McCandless officiating. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 PM until the 6:00 PM funeral hour. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements and is assisting the family. A native of Homestead, Florida, he was the son of the late James Anderson Brown and Laura B. (Morrison) Brown. He was a member of the Faith Pentecostal Church in Columbia. His occupation was that of a welder and he also worked as a roofer. Although his life was short, Mr. Brown had a lot of interests and did a lot of things in life. He was an avid Nascar fan and his favorite car was #88, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He enjoyed golf and loved to play pool and poker. He not only enjoyed watching the races, but he like to get involved himself. He raced at the Hohenwald Dirt Track and also at Thunder Hill Race Track in Summertown. He was a lung cancer survivor and had a passion for life. He will truly be missed by all of his family and friends. Glenn left behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Stephanie (Ryan) Sutherland of Santa Fe, TN; his mother, Laura B. Brown of Columbia, TN; two brothers: Jimmy (Selena) McGraw of Lynnville, TN and James Brown, Jr. of Fairview, TN; three sisters: Debbie K. (Keith) Sartain of Columbia, TN, Judy (Jerry) Brown of Nashville, TN, and Wilma Sue Brown of Nashville, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the William G.
