Mr. Roger Thomas Arnold, age 47 and a resident of Sowell Mill Pike, passed away November 5, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM and two hours prior to the service on Tuesday. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. Mr. Arnold was a native of Flint, Michigan and retired from Saturn Corporation. He was a man with many talents and interests, receiving his Masters Certification in automotive mechanics at age 16. He was a licensed builder and electrician and loved to design homes. He loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was a teacher at heart and helped raise the kids in his neighborhood. He loved hot rods, Corvettes, fast cars, beautiful women and corn squeezins. Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by his father, Norman Arnold. He is survived by his mother, Sally Lavigne; son, Nikolas Williams of Washington, DC; daughters, Katrina Michael of Chicago, IL, Jennifer Sutherland of Clarkston, MI, Mindy Arnold of Monroe, MI, Bianca Sloan-Hiller of Cullman, AL and 4 grandchildren.
