Sandra Humphrey, age 55, beloved wife of Tim Humphrey and a resident of Lewisburg, TN passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 at her home with her loving family by her side. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Charlie Norman officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday April 24, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday April 25, 2012 from 9:00-11:00 am. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Originally from Michigan, Sandra was the daughter of the late Timothy Richard and the late Mary Sue (Luctente) Ulfig. She was of the Catholic faith and an employee of the Columbia Fire Department. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing Bunco, scrapbooking, quilting and playing Mrs. Clause for the Columbia Christmas Parade. She loved her family, grandchildren, and children including the 96 at the CFD unconditionally. She is survived by her husband: Tim Humphrey of Lewisburg, TN; two sons: Dennis (Terry) Simpson Jr. of Tompkinsville, KY and Michael (Paige) Simpson of Chapel Hill, TN; two daughters: Stacy Good and Tracy Simpson both of Lewisburg, TN; three brothers: Mark (Judy) Richard of Adrian, MI, Daniel (Sheryl) Richard of Tecumseh, MI, and Kenneth (Jody) Richard of Tecumseh, MI. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren: Daniel Good, Blake Good, Marissa Simpson, Kaitlyn Simpson, Bailey Johnson, Lexie Simpson, Tristan Simpson, Dakota Johnson, Tyler Simpson, Morgan Simpson, Gavin Johnson, Carrie Rae Simpson, and Alec Chapman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Michael Anthony Richard and her late husband Dennis Ray Simpson. Pallbearers will be Roy Brooks, Michael King, Joey Norman, Larry Duke, Ricky Stanfill, Jackson Delk, Tommy Hemphill, and Randy Jones.
