Ethel Jewel "Pee Wee" Davis, age 74, of Columbia passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Signature Health Care in Columbia. Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 1 PM at Greenfield Bend Cemetery in Williamsport with Bro. Bob Adair officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, from 10 AM - 12 noon at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. A native of Maury County, Ethel was born on March 6, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Bertha Davis. She enjoyed working puzzles and especially loved playing solitaire. She is survived by two brothers: Walker (Betty) Davis of Columbia, Nathaniel "Dick" (Dot) Davis of Shady Grove; sister, Myrtle Potts of Columbia; sister-in-law, Sarah Davis; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers: Floyd Davis, Sanford Davis, Henry Davis; four sisters: Hattie Hanes, Mattie Kelley, Edna Riley, Hulda Beard; and brother-in-law, J.B Potts. Pallbearers will be Jerry Davis, Johnnie Davis, Kenny Davis, Arnold Hanes, Ronnie Kelley, William Potts, and Anthony Potts. Honorary pallbearers will be friends from the Impact Center, and staff of Signature Health Care. Condolences may be sent to the family at the top of this page.
