Anna Willette Betty Moore, age 91, a resident of Herschel Fox Road in Spring Hill, Tennessee, formerly of Hardison Mill, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at NHC Healthcare in Columbia. Funeral Services for Mrs. Moore will be held on Friday, September 09, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Thom Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, September 08, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and then again on Friday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. A native of Long Branch, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Herschel Hubert Betty and the late Nola Mable Braswell. She was a member of Glenns Chapel Methodist Church in Williamson County, Tennessee. She and her husband Stuard Moore enjoyed forty-four years of marriage before his passing. They raised a family together and enjoyed life. She was a devoted and loving homemaker and a talented seamstress. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love for life and people was evident in her everyday activities. In her earlier years, she cared for the elderly in her neighborhood and could always be found helping someone. Her loving and caring heart will truly be missed. Mrs. Moore left behind to cherish her memory one son, Thomas Lattie Buddy (Claudia) Moore of Nashville, TN; two daughters, Myra Avis (Larry) Fox of Spring Hill, TN and Nola Pamela Pame (Wayne) Morrow of Cross Bridges, TN; two brothers: Bob (Sue) Betty and Bill (Vicky) Betty both of Lafayette, IN; two grandchildren: Janet (Edward) Andrews of Culleoka, TN and Matthew Moore of Nashville, TN; and three great grandchildren: Jessica Andrews, Julie Andrews, and Steven Andrews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Gertrude Ring and one sister Rozell Betty Ervin. Pallbearers will include: Robbie Ervin, David Ervin, Van Brown, Jimmy Clemons, Robert Fox, Matthew Moore, Edward Andrews and Steven Andrews. Honorary Pallbearers will be Allen Brown, Jimmie Lamar, Randy Short, John Waldrum and Harold Delk. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of NHC Columbia and special caregivers: Susan Hicks, Heather Staggs and Merriann Sitzsimmons. Also, a special mention of thanks to her special friends Betty Holton and Freda Hudson.
