Iris Elizabeth Dilbeck

February 29, 1956 - August 17, 2011

Mrs. Iris Dilbeck, age 55, wife of Alan Dilbeck and a resident of Spring Hill, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical University in Nashville, Tennessee following an extended illness. A private Life Celebration will be held by the family. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. A native of Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Stankus and the late Ninalee Heide Krueger Stankus. She was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Dilbeck enjoyed loving and caring for her family. Due to her illness, she could not do a lot of things with her grandchildren, but she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. Her kind heart and loving ways will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her. In addition to her husband, Iris left behind to cherish her memory one daughter, Neena (John) McGrew of Columbia, TN; four grandchildren: Shawna Frampton, Elizabeth McGrew, Emmy McGrew and Betty Jo McGrew all of Columbia, TN; and one brother, Danny Stankus of IN, and two sisters: Noralee Fisher of IN, and Rose Webb of TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Loralee Stankus.
