Margie Blaylock

May 17, 1958 - July 4, 2012

Margie Blaylock, age 54 of Bear Creek Pike, passed away in the early hours of July 4th in Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia.

The family will celebrate Margie's life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.

She was born May 17, 1958 in Franklin and was the daughter of the late Leonard Franklin Carter and Ruby Pearl Griggs Carter. Margie was a homemaker and a woman of deep faith.

Margie treated people equally. She would do anything for someone else if she thought it was helping. Her children fondly recall her deep Christian values and willingness to give, help, or provide for someone in need. No matter how she felt, Margie would make it her goal to help those around her feel better by reminding them how important they were. If she ever felt she had "wronged" someone, she was the first to apologize. She will be best celebrated as an outstanding mother and grandmother, and will bemissed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two children: Kim Blaylock of Columbia, TN and Tim Blaylock of Hohenwald, TN; a brother: Doyle Carter of Hickman County; a sister: Joan King of Columbia; and three grandchildren: Dayln, Kayln, and Trentin Blaylock.
