Mr. James Carl Pattison, age 63 of Spring Hill, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 5:00 PM from the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Scott Aleridge. The eulogy will be presented by James' longtime friend, Dan Jones. The family will visit with friends two hours prior to the service from 3:00 until 5:00 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and is in charge of the arrangements. A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, James was the son of the late James V. Pattison and Mrs. Alberta Overman Kadolph, who survives. He was an operations manager and engineer consultant with Dell Computers, and attended the First United Methodist Church of Columbia.James was an avid golfer and fisherman. He loved his family and his dog, Bear, and was blessed to have wonderful friends. He cared for others and showed that care through his involvement with Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Food Bank and the American Red Cross. In addition to his love for the beach and his enjoyment of life, James will also be remembered for his sharp wit and incredible work ethic. In addition to his mother: Alberta Overman Kadolph of Columbia, James is survived by his wife: Marsha Lee Pattison of Spring Hill; a daughter: Meghan Lee (John) Markie of Nashville; two sons: Brendan (Morgan) Pattison of Spring Hill and Jason (Julie) Pattison of Madison, IN; three sisters: Joy Unrein of Columbia, Janet Rose Miller of Gurnee, IL, and Judy Wilson of Greeley, CO; and one grandson: Gabriel James Pattison. James' request was that in lieu of flowers you honor his life by making memorial donations to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee...or cast your vote for President Barack Obama.
