Joe A. Trotter

March 24, 1921 - August 18, 2011

Mr. J.A. Trotter, age 90, husband of Elva Mae (Earls) Trotter and a resident of Columbia, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A private family graveside service was held for Mr. Trotter on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Maury Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home assisted the family and was in charge of the arrangements. A native of Harrison, Arkansas, he was the son of the late John Albert Trotter and the late Joe Atchley Trotter. Mr. Trotter was a hard working man who enjoyed spending his life working as a cattle farmer. In addition to his wife of sixty-five years, Mr. Trotter has one daughter, Libby (Lynn) Hickman of Columbia, TN; one sister, Neoma (Ross) Parker of Harrison, AR. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Edith Trotter and Bonnie (Sherman) Parker.
