Glenn "Sparky" Maker

December 12, 1955 - July 4, 2011

Mr. Glenn Sparky Maker age 55, husband of Julia Maker, and a resident of Spring Hill, TN. passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011. A Memorial Service will be held by the family on Monday, July 11 at 10:00 AM at the Spring Hill Presbyterian Church at 5344 Main Street Spring Hill, TN 37174-2446 (Next to the TN Children's Home) (931) 486-2642 . Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements and is assisting the family. A native of Panorama City, California, he was the son of the late Lewis Maker and Helen Lopez Maker. Mr. Maker had a big heart and he was always willing to help others. He had many interests in life. He liked to build hot rods and he loved cars in general. He was a member of the Country Cruisers and Poor Boys Car Clubs. Also, he was a music enthusiast and he enjoyed participating in a radio show. He was volunteer of the year 2006 for the Well Community Food Bank. As his brothers said, he was an all-around good brother. His love for life and kind spirit will truly be missed by all of his family and friends. In addition to his wife of over 30 years and his mother, Mr. Maker left to cherish his memory one son, Glenn (Kimberly) Lewis Maker of La Vergne, TN; one daughter, Victoria (Jeremy) Jean Pope of Okinawa, Japan; a brother Gary (Debra) Maker of Spring Hill, TN; a sister, Kathy (Danny) Alverez of Bloomington, IN; and six grandchildren: William Pope, Kailey Pope, Emaley Pope, Hayden Pope, Finn Maker and Eric Maker.
