Mr. George Sanchez, age 67, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at his residence. The family will celebrate his life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 15, 1946, George was the son of the late Jake and Grace Archibeque Sanchez. He previously worked as a security officer. He is survived by his wife: Angela Jo Rose Sanchez; children: Gina Sanchez, Rick Sanchez, and Jennifer Smith; sisters: Connie Zarate, Ramona Eychner, and Mary; and several grandchildren.
