Shirley Mae Anderson

October 3, 1935 - December 2, 2013

Shirley Mae Anderson, age 78, a resident of Spring Hill, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Her family will celebrate her life with a private family gathering. Her remains will be interred in Southern Memorial Park in Miami, FL. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. Shirley was born October 3, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the daughter of the late George Edgar Jones and Eva Whitton Jones. She was a retired bookkeeper, but will be best remembered for her love of wildlife. Most of all she was devoted to her family. Until her health began to fail she helped care for her great-grandchildren. She loved the energy of having her family around her, but found peace in the beauty of the mountains. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Styers of Spring Hill, TN; Granddaughters: April Styers and Casey Brown; and five great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter Tammy Sue Anderson.
