Marvin Thomson, Jr., age 66, a resident of Depot St in Columbia, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 at his residence. Service will be scheduled at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements A native of Maury County, Marvin was born on August 29, 1947 and was the son of the late Marvin Ray Thomson, Sr., and Johnie Chatman. He served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his brothers: Michael Preacher Thomson of Mt. Pleasant, David Thomson of Columbia, Randolph Thomson of Columbia and Tony Thomson of Mt. Pleasant. You may share condolences with the family at the top of this page.
