Mrs. Faye Russell, age 73, wife of Elder Lynn H. Russell and a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, April, 1, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia with her loving family in prayer by her side. Funeral Services for Mrs. Russell will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Elder Coy Brothers, Elder R. Wayne Peters, and Elder Ronald Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm in the DeKalb County Memorial Gardens in Smithville, Tennessee. The family will visit with friends on Monday, April 04, 2011 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home and from 8:00 am until the funeral hour on Tuesday. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. A native of Smithville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Joe Ben Foutch and the late Dollie (Knowles) Foutch. She was baptized on her 12th birthday and joined Mt. View Primitive Baptist Church. She spent her years doing what she loved most; taking care of her family, working in her garden, and standing side by side with her husband as his loving helpmate in the ministry. She also served her church for many years as the church clerk. In addition, she was the president of the Mynders Homemakers Club. Her kind and joyful spirit will be missed in the hearts of all those who knew her. In addition to her husband of 46 years, she left behind to cherish her memory two sons: Timothy Tim L. (Patti) Russell of Chattanooga, TN and Daniel Dan C. (Lisa) Russell of Columbia, TN; a brother; Jim Foutch (Evelyn) of Cane Ridge, TN; a sister, Barbara (Truman) Stubblefield of Goodlettsville, TN; two grandchildren who were the joy of her life: Josiah and Esther Russell both of Columbia, TN;two aunts: Gladys Knowles and Macon Judkins and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Waylon Foutch.
