Kenneth M. Laws

Mr. Kenneth M. Laws, age 58, husband of Pamela Laws and a resident of Caldwell Drive in Columbia, Tennessee passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at his residence following a battle with cancer. A memorial Service for Mr. Laws will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Cunningham officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. A native of McMinnville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Omar Kenneth Laws and Estelle Duncan Blair. He worked with the Williamson County Government in the Maintenance Department. As we travel this journey of life, we encounter many different personalities. Some people have varied interests with their lives filled with hobbies and interests. This was not the case with Kenneth. He had one primary focus in life and that was his family. His quiet personality and loving ways will truly be missed by his devoted family. In addition to his wife and mother, he left behind to cherish his memory a son, Stanley Laws of Smyrna, TN; two daughters: Kristen (Jonathan) Laws of McMinnville, TN and Natasha (Daniel) Richard of Columbia, TN; a brother, Richard (Cathy) Laws of McMinnville, TN and two sisters: Phyllis (Don) Smith of McMinnville, TN and Rita (Gerald) Malone of Smithville, TN; and five grandchildren: Connor Laws, Skyla Levine, Aidan Richard all of Columbia, TN and McKenna Laws and Rylan Laws both of McMinnville, TN. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his in-laws W. David Buchanan and Estella Buchanan of Franklin, TN.
