Willard E. Myers

December 14, 1962 - January 12, 2014

Mr. Willard E. Myers, age 51, a resident of Lynnville, TN passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 3PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Keith Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 5-7PM at Heritage Funeral Home and again one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born in McMinnville, TN on December 14, 1962, Willard was the son of the late Jackie and Clementine Hobbs Fire. He loved fishing and watching football, and he especially loved his dog and cat. He was the life of any party, and he never met a stranger. Willard worked as an installer of heating and air conditioning. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his companion of 16 years, Jeanie Ling; sons: Trent and Travis Myers of McMinnville; step-daughters: Kim Gilliam Lyles, Cynthia Odom both of Summertown; step-sons: Kevin Ling of Columbia, Kenneth Ling of Alabama, Darrell Gilliam of Spring Hill; brothers: Doug Myers, Gary Myers, and Wayne Myers all of McMinnville; and several grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Devin Venable, Kevin Ling, Darrell Gilliam, Nathan Odom, Steven Odom, and Keith Odom. Christopher Gilliam will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
