Mr. Keith H. Livsey, age 83, husband of Ruth Griffith Livsey, and a resident of Napels, Florida, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee surrounded by his loving family. A Memorial Service for Mr. Livsey will be held on Saturday, February 05, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Dundee United Methodist Church located at 645 Franklin Street in Dundee, Michigan. Heritage Funeral Home of Columbia, Tennessee is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. A native of Redford, Michigan, Mr. Livsey was the son of the late Sherman Livsey and the late Olive May McKnight. He was a WWII veteran where he faithfully served with the United States Navy. He owned his own Trucking Business where he worked as a truck broker. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge in Milan, Michigan. This loving, family man had many varied interests and talents for which his family is very proud. He enjoyed golfing, repairing things; as a matter of fact there was nothing he couldnt fix. He liked antique cars and particularly enjoyed traveling in his motor home with his family. His outgoing personality led him to many friends as he was known for, never meeting a stranger . He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his wife of sixty-three years, he left behind to cherish his memory six children: Randall Livsey of Wisconsin, Susan (Scott) Kanitz of Michigan, Patricia (Harmon) Goetz of Franklin, TN, Janice Livsey of Utah, John (Bari Lynn) Livsey of Michigan and Michael Livsey, of Michigan; one brother, Francis Livsey of Midland, Michigan; eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
