Roger E. Dominey, 33, a resident of Patton Road in Hohenwald and formerly of Old Williamsport Pike in Columbia, died, Friday, July 31, 2009 at his residence. Funeral Services for Mr. Dominey will be conducted Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN with Pastor Dave Baker and Brother Steve Currington officiating. Burial will be in the Maury Memorial Gardens, Garden of Peace. Military Honors will be provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Born in Los Angeles, California he is the son of Roger W. Dominey of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee and Linda (Tony) Fuller of Barstow, California. He was the husband of Rebecca L. Baker Dominey, who he married December 24, 1994. He was a graduate of Ventura High School in California and went on to serve in the United States Army for 6 years. He was the owner of Green Focus Enterprises. Mr. Dominey was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Aubriana Dominey, Aundraya Dominey, Aulexsia Dominey, and Roger R.J. Dominey all of Hohenwald, Tennessee; sisters, Kerry Swenson of Barstow, California, Heather Dominey and Alicia Dominey both of Jamestown, New York; brothers, Kavin Dominey of Barstow, California and Lupe Contreras of Sommerton, Arizona; a grandmother, Marilyn Storms of Panama, New York; and a grandfather, Gordon (Carol) Dominey of Gerry, New York. Pallbearers will be Larry Adams, Kevin Dominey, Lupe Contreras, Daniel Booker, John Suttles, Gary Holman, Charles Loveless, James Dempsey, John Oswalt, and Steve Wipf and David Grassel. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Roger E. Dominey Discipleship Home, c/o Lighthouse Baptist Church, 130 Ashwood Drive, Columbia, TN 38401.
