Patricia Anne Shouse

Mrs. Patricia Pat Anne Hargrove Shouse, 62, wife of Malcolm Mike Shouse and resident of Roberts Bend Road in the Santa Fe Community, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral Services for Mrs. Shouse will be conducted Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Baptist Church located at 1500 Tom J. Hitch Parkway with Rev. Mike Roberts and Keith Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Sparkman Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday, August 22, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Parkway Baptist Church. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Williamson County, she is the daughter of Mildred Gilliam Hargrove of Santa Fe and the late Charlie Hargrove. She was retired from Bradburn Property Rentals where she was the office manager. She was a former employee of Nortons Grocery Store and Publix Shirt Factory. For the past five years she operated Nannys Day Care in her home. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed collecting dolls, angels, and miscellaneous figurines. She was a loving mother, grandmother, nanny, and friend. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Angela Morton of Columbia; a son Michael (Erin) Shouse of Santa Fe; a sister, Teresa (Ed) King of Santa Fe; a granddaughter, Candice Boyd of Columbia; a grandson, Parker Shouse of Santa Fe; a brother-in-law, Jimmy (Judy) Shouse of Santa Fe, a niece, Christy (Johnny) Cates; and several nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Harold Hargrove. Active Pallbearers will be her nephews; Trent Mitchell, Harold Wayne Hargrove, Jr., Troy Hargrove, Mike Shouse, Mark Shouse, and Greg Shouse. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Cates, Kevin Barnes, Bobby Barnes, parents and children of Nannys Day Care and the 1964 graduating class of Santa Fe High School.
