William Richard Dugger, 47, beloved son, cherished brother, adored uncle, and a resident of Edgewood Drive in Columbia, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Dugger will be conducted Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Adair officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Saturday, May 29, 2010, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Maury County, he is the son of William A. Bill and Betty Boshers Dugger. Richard was a member of the Columbia Central High School Class of 1980. He attended Columbia State Community College for 2 years, and attended Maury Beauty School. For 25 years, Richard served Maury County with his expertise in hair styling. He was a stage stylist for Redken Products. Additionally, Richard was an artist with paintings and decorating. He loved travelling. Richard loved people, was fun-loving, and he loved his family. He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Susie Dugger Sundby of the McCains Community; a niece, Joanna Martin (Micah) Loyed of Murfreesboro; a nephew, Joshua Lee (Mallory Brown) Martin of Knoxville; 2 aunts, Sara Phillips of Bowling Green, KY and Dot Boshers of Mt. Pleasant; 3 uncles, Van Boshers of Columbia; James Ray Boshers and Wade (Beatrice) Boshers, both of Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Will and Ruby Boshers, Amos and Nina Mae Dugger, and several aunts and uncles.
