Lorene Mangrum Shultz

Mrs. Lorene Clifton Mangrum Shultz, 78, resident of Pulaski Highway, died Thursday, October 23, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral Services for Lorene Mom will be conducted Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Parkway Baptist Church with Rev. Ward Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. Family will visit with friends Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Lawrence County, she was the daughter of the late Jeff and Ora Kimbrough Clifton. She was the widow of Lelon Mangrum and Larry G. Shultz. Lorene was an avid gardener, collected angel figurines, and a Nascar, UT Vols and Atlanta Braves fan. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by daughters, Wanda (Ronnie) Davis of Woodbury, TN; Theresa (Doug) Yant of Columbia; Kathy (Jerry) Becker of Columbia; sons, J.B. (Debra) Mangrum of Dickson; Danny (Debbie) Mangrum of Dothan, AL; Terry (Tammy) Mangrum of Columbia; a brother, Virgil (Ilene) Clifton of Lyles; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Santana Mangrum; Terry Dale Mangrum; Angie (Dave) Baker; Donald (Melissa) Suiter, Jr.; Stephen (Mindy) Yant; David (Nicole) Yant; Becky Mangrum; Emily Mangrum; Shaddon (Shea) Davis; Jay Michael Mangrum; great-grandchildren, Ryan Suiter; Haven Davis; Hunter Yant; Kailyn Mangrum; Mason Yant; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Waldrop. Active Pallbearers will be Stephen Yant, Jay Michael Mangrum, Shaddon Davis, David Yant, Dave Baker, and Buddy Blankenship. Honorary pallbearers will be Staff Sgt. Donald Suiter, Jr., Bob Barnes, Frank Cates, Dr. John Brown, and Dr. Pat McCarthy.
