OF LOCAL INTEREST... Roy Henry Page, Sr., 74, formerly of Santa Fe, TN and Bradenton, FL, died at his residence in Shellman, Georgia on December 10, 2007. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2007 at Shellman Assembly of God with Rev. Gary Stutz officiating. Mr. Page was born in Maury County, Tennessee, son of the late Odie Allen Page and Annice Lee Tucker Page. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War. He was well known for his art work in welding steel and later retired from the Shrum Steel Corporation as a Master Steel Worker. He was a member of the Shellman Assembly of God in Shellman. Survivors include his wife, Betty Louise Boyett Page of Shellman: three sons, Roy Henry Page, Jr. and wife, Tammy of Shellman; Kenneth Allen Page and wife, Lori of Bradenton, FL; Kevin Matthew Page and fianc, Toni Lynn of Sarasota, FL.; a daughter, Shawna Lynn Taylor and husband, Trent of Palmetto, FL.; brother, Odie Lee Page of Charlotte, NC. and six grandchildren. Local survivors include cousins, Baxter Blackburn of Columbia and Dot Roberson Horne of Columbia; several other cousins in Maury County.
