Aaron H. Bolton

Aaron H. Bolton, 88, a resident of Gardendale Drive in Columbia, died Friday, September 18, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Bolton will be conducted Monday, September 21, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Murray Derryberry officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Maury County, he is the son of the late G. W. and Sadie Hardin Bolton. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Grace Derryberry Bolton. Mr. Bolton is retired from UCAR where he worked as a lab technician for 37 years. He enjoyed gardening and sports. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Vannette Bolton of Columbia and Kim (Mark) Allen of Smyrna; two grand-daughters, Charity (Brian) Sharp of Columbia and Emery Allen of Smyrna; three grandsons, Kyle Bolton and Patrick Hall of Columbia and Landon Allen of Smyrna; seven great grandchildren, Cody Bolton, Blake Bolton, Brooklyn Bolton, Ethan Sharp, Wesley Sharp, Maverick Sharp and Neely Sharp; one great " great grandchild, Hayden Bolton; sister, Bertie (Oliver) Pantall of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Warner Bolton; two brothers, Charlie Bolton and Bill Bolton; and a sister, Lois Williams. Pallbearers will Guy Derryberry, Steve Derryberry, Tim Lunn, Randall Lunn, Mark Allen, Ricky Mencer, Troy Derryberry and Benny Bolton.
