Richard B. Hewitt Mr. Richard Brown Hewitt, age 57, a resident of Lynnville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 2 oclock in the afternoon, at the Municipal Building in his home town of Lynnville. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Richard is the son of Frances Henry Hewitt of Lynnville and the late Richard Wilkes Hewitt. Richard pursued a career in Information Technology, graduating as a Deans List student from Columbia State Community College. His love for computer technology provided opportunities for him to serve on assignments at Kingsland Bay Naval Base in St. Marys, Georgia and the United States Pentagon in Washington, DC. Coming home to Lynnville in 1999, Richard founded Enigma Technology Services and enjoyed assisting local and regional companies with the integration of technology into their business practices. Richard was an Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow and a certified scuba diver. Many will remember his love of music and his talent on the ivory keyboard. He also enjoyed construction and was in the process of restoring his home in Lynnville until his health began to fail. His friendship and talents will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, Richard is survived by two sons, Coby Wilkes Hewitt of Cookeville, TN and Richard Aaron Hewitt of Lynnville, TN, a daughter, Amanda Jamie Hewitt, also of Lynnville, his sister, Nelle Hewitt Anderson-Dean of West Palm Beach, FL and two nephews, Sam and Seth Anderson of Atlanta and West Palm Beach.
