Mr. Ewell Floyd Lee, Jr., 75, a resident of South Main Street in Columbia, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2013 at the Veterans Hospital in Nashville. Graveside services for Mr. Lee will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Rock Springs Cemetery with Pastor George McDowell officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 4-8 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. Born October 19, 1937 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Ewell and Mary Dickson Lee and husband of Glendora York Lee. He was a self employed truck driver, did Realty photography, and was a US Army veteran of the Korean/Vietnam conflicts. In his spare time, he loved to hunt, fish and bowl. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: Gregory Allen Lee and Darell Floyd (Penny) Lee; stepsons: Joe York, Woodrow York, David York; stepdaughters: Helen Kelley, Twilla Shreke, Andre Rich, Melissa York and Linda Riddle; brother: Charles Marvin Lee; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Jean Ann Harris and Mary Frances Witherow; stepson: Mark Nay. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
