Mr. Stephen Edward Harville age 55, husband of Genie Harville, and a resident of Giles County, TN passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 9, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Calvin Lunn officiating. Interment will follow at Loftin Cemetery. Friends are invited to pay their respects after 9:00 AM on Monday. The family will be present from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at 3:00 on Monday. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements.

Born in Florence, AL, Stephen lived in Arkansas for a time before moving to Mt. Pleasant where he graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. Stephen was a longtime employee of Stauffer Chemical in Mount Pleasant as well as ICP in Lewisburg. He was a present employee of Goodman Manufacturing in Fayetteville, TN; Stephen was highly respected for his work ethic. He was described as gentle and kind and always willing to help. He especially enjoyed animals and being out in the country. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Genie, he is survived by his mother, Anne Harville of Columbia, TN; son, TJ (Carol Ann) Hendrix of Mt. Pleasant, TN; granddaughter, Paisley Hendrix; two sisters: Kay (Paul) McClain of Mt. Joy, TN, Kathy (George) Bynum of Omaha, NE; mother-in-law, Georgia B. Lee of Culleoka, TN; sister-in-law, Louise Crick of Culleoka, TN; brothers-in-law: Ed (Pam) Lee of Columbia, TN, David (Joanne) Lee of Center Valley, PA; special critters: Daisy, Susie, and Maggie; several nieces: Denise Anderson, Dena Haurez, Leanne Crick, Mary Anne Andrews, and Alison Smith; and several nephews, who will serve as pallbearers: Eddie Anderson, Bubba Lee, Anthony Lee, Rusty Solomon, Rickey Solomon, Jeff Lee, Andy Lee, Tim Haurez, Wayne Crick, David Lee, Jr., Joseph Lee, Trevor Bynum, Stephen Andrews, and Yancey Smith.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond E. Harville; father-in-law, Jasper Lee; brothers-in-law: Leonard Lee, and Wayne Crick and a sister-in-law, Linda Solomon.

Honorary pallbearers include special friends: Parker and Wanda Francis, Tommy and Mary Ellen Boyd, Don Gilchriest, Kim Allen, Ricky Patrick, Anthony and Cindy Francis and Employees of Goodman Manufacturing Company in Fayetteville, TN.

Special thanks to the Maury Regional Medical Center Oncology and Radiology doctors and staff, the Infusion Center and staff, Dr. Steven Smith and CARIS Hospice, and all the wonderful nurses and staff with the 3 rd floor Oncology wing.
