Born and raised on Williamsport Pike, he thought of Mrs. Catherine Bolton as a second mother, and he loved her dearly, even though he didnt always listen. He also dearly loved his favorite uncle, L.D. Parham and Lucille. Mark loved his daughter Misty and his grandchildren. He loved caring for his father, and he really enjoyed rebuilding lawn mowers and selling and trading with people. He liked Dodge vehicles and could fix up any car. He liked gardening with his dad and growing the largest tomatoes and turnip greens. He previously worked at Occidental Chemical, Keith Baker Homes, and for the City of Columbia. He helped his dad for 34 years doing lawn care and maintenance for Cook Properties. He would always be there if you needed a helping hand, and he would give you the shirt off his back if needed. He especially loved his dog, Molly. He will be missed greatly by all his family and his friends. A special Thank you to Mt. Pleasant Health & Rehab nurses, techs, and staff. In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughter: Misty Dawn (Josh) Cozart of Lewisburg; brother: Terry (Pam) Parham of Culleoka; sister: Amy Kelley of Columbia; brother-in-law: Stanley Smith of Columbia; two grandchildren: Wesley and Melissa Cozart; special friend: Connie Roberts; beloved dog: Molly; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
